Nicholas Frimpong-Manso
Founder & Director
Nicholas Frimpong-Manso is a dynamic Ghanaian-Hungarian entrepreneur, policy advisor, and business strategist with 15-years of experience spanning Africa and Europe. With a strong background in development finance, government relations, and international business, he has built a career at the intersection of policy, technology, and sustainable development.
Nicholas is holding the honorary position of Foreign Economic Counsellor to Hungary in Ghana since 2015, actively strengthening Ghana-Hungary trade, investment, and diplomatic ties. He was instrumental in the reopening of the Hungarian Embassy in Ghana, organizing bilateral forums, and facilitating state visits, including the official visit of the President of Hungary in 2022.
As the Founder and Director of GP Business Consulting, Nicholas has successfully guided foreign companies and investors into African markets, overseeing projects worth over USD 150 million. Notably, he played a pivotal role in securing and managing Ghana’s chip-embedded ePassport project (USD 100 million), the supply of 5 million National Health Insurance Cards, and the development of wastewater treatment plants in Kumasi, Takoradi, and Tamale (USD 48 million).
Between 2020 and 2024, Nicholas served as CEO of Pureco Africa, where he established the company’s legal and operational foundation in Ghana, expanded its footprint across Africa, and championed sustainable water engineering solutions. He currently leads project development for Pureco Africa, driving initiatives that improve water security and public health across the continent.
Nicholas holds a Master’s degree in Development Finance from the University of Ghana Business School and a Bachelor’s degree in Intercultural Business Administration from Lauder Business School, Vienna. Multilingual in English, Hungarian, and German, with working knowledge of Twi and Russian, he thrives in multicultural environments and has extensive experience navigating European and African markets.
Passionate about Africa’s growth and development, Nicholas combines his expertise in policy, finance, and emerging technologies to drive projects that create impact at scale. Whether through advising policymakers on crypto adoption, building sustainable infrastructure, or promoting cross-border partnerships, he remains dedicated to shaping Africa’s economic future.
