Virtual Trade Mission to Ghana by NERSANT Portugal
GP Business Consulting, in collaboration with NERSANT, organized a virtual trade mission between Portuguese-based firms and Ghanaian firms. The mandate of the virtual B2B meetings was to promote trade relationship between Portugal and Ghana. The Trade Mission brought together 28 Ghanaian companies and 4 Portuguese companies. The virtual meetings took place between 21st September – 13th October 2020.
The Portuguese companies provided services in ICT/Software Development, Pharmaceuticals, Fast Moving Consumer Goods Distribution, and Wine Sales and Distribution.
Overall, the NERSANT virtual trade mission to Ghana, which saw the organization of 28 meetings, was a successful one. Their spirit of the interactions between the Portuguese companies and their Ghanaian counterparts was not dampened by COVID-19, which has slowed down many a business. Most Ghanaian participants showed eagerness to continue communication with their Portuguese counterparts after their initial interactions during the mission.
